The Research Triangle: from Tobacco Road to Global Prominence This new book by William M. Rohe traces the emergence of the Research Triangle Park and its role in the region’s economic transformation. Although the Triangle’s short-term prospects are bright, Rohe cautions that with the expected growth of an additional million residents over the next twenty years, improvements through governmental cooperation, regional planning, and civic leadership must be addressed.
