AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 212 OF THE SESSION LAWS OF 1959 RELATING TO THE AUTHORITY OF CERTAIN COUNTIES OF THE STATE TO CALL ELECTIONS ON THE QUESTION OF LEVYING TAXES FOR INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT PURPOSES.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. Section 2 of Chapter 212 of the Session Laws of 1959 is amended by inserting after the colon following the word "counties" and before the word "Edgecombe" in line 2 of said Section, the word "Chowan".

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
