AN ACT TO AMEND VARIOUS SECTIONS OF THE GENERAL STATUTES TO CHANGE THE TITLE OF THE COUNTY SUPERINTENDENT OF PUBLIC WELFARE TO THAT OF COUNTY DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WELFARE.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  The Sections of the General Statutes listed herein are hereby amended by striking out the words "superintendent" or "superintendents", whichever appears, and inserting in lieu thereof the words "director" or "directors", whichever is appropriate, in the following places:

Sec. 2.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3.  This Act shall become effective upon its ratification.
