AN ACT TO FIX THE COMPENSATION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY  COMMISSIONERS OF ONSLOW COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. Effective the first Monday in December, 1962, the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners of Onslow County shall receive as compensation for his services the sum of one hundred dollars ($100.00) per month, and in addition thereto shall receive mileage at the rate of seven cents (7¢) per mile as travel expense necessarily incurred in the performance of his official duties.

Sec. 2. Effective the first Monday in December, 1962, the members of the Board of County Commissioners of Onslow County, other than the Chairman, shall receive as compensation for their services the sum of seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per month, and in addition thereto shall receive mileage at the rate of seven cents (7¢) per mile as travel expense necessarily incurred in the performance of their official duties.

Sec. 3. Chapter 675 of the 1951 Session Laws and all laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
