HOUSE BILL 809

AN ACT TO AMEND G. S. 2-53 RELATING TO CERTAIN POWERS AND DUTIES OF THE CLERK OF THE SUPERIOR COURT OF WAKE COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. G. S. 2-53 is hereby amended by striking out the words and figures "one thousand dollars ($1,000.00)" in lines 1 and 2 and in lines 15 and 16, as the same appear in the 1959 Cumulative Supplement to the General Statutes, and inserting in each place in lieu thereof the words and figures "twelve hundred and fifty dollars ($1250.00)".

Sec. 2. This Act shall apply only to Wake County.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
