SENATE BILL 378

AN ACT RELATING TO THE COMPENSATION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF WAYNE COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. The compensation of the Chairman and the members of the Board of County Commissioners of Wayne County, to be paid out of the general fund of the county, is hereby established as follows:

Chairman - One thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500.00) annually, payable in twelve equal monthly installments.

Members - One thousand two hundred dollars ($1,200.00) annually, payable in twelve equal monthly installments.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 9th day of June, 1961.
