AN ACT TO AMEND G. S. 160-227.1 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT PART 3A, ARTICLE 18, CHAPTER 160, OF THE GENERAL STATUTES SHALL BE APPLICABLE TO HALIFAX COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. G. S. 160-227.1, as the same presently appears in the 1959 Cumulative Supplement to Volume 3C of the General Statutes, is hereby amended by striking out the words and punctuation "Halifax," immediately after the word "Greene," and immediately before the word "Harnett" in line three thereof.

Sec. 2. The intent and purpose of this Act is to provide that part 3A, Article 18, Chapter 160, of the General Statutes, entitled "Subdivisions", shall be applicable to Halifax County.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
