AN ACT TO APPOINT A MEMBER TO THE HENDERSON COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION TO FILL THE VACANCY OF A MEMBER WHO HAS RESIGNED.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. That William McKay, of Hendersonville County, be, and is hereby, appointed a member of the Henderson County Board of Education to serve for the unexpired term of Frank Fitzsimmons, Jr., who has resigned from said board.

Sec. 2. That the said William McKay, who is appointed a member of said board by this Act, shall take the oath and be inducted into office within a period of ten (10) days from and after the effective date of this Act.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
