CHAPTER 11

HOUSE BILL 50

 

 

AN ACT TO APPOINT MEMBERS OF THE MADISON COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION AND FIX THEIR TERMS OF OFFICE.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. Chapter 167 of the Session Laws of 1961 is hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. B. K. Meadows, Zeno H. Ponder, J. G. Gardner, Swann Huff, and Eugene Reece are hereby appointed as the members of the Madison County Board of Education.

Sec. 3. The terms of office of the above named members shall begin on the third Monday in March, 1963, and shall continue for the term of four years thereafter, and until their successors shall be duly elected and qualified.

Sec. 4. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 5. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
