AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS TO PROVIDE FOR ADDITIONS AND OTHER IMPROVEMENTS TO THE SWINE BARN OF THE NORTH CAROLINA STATE FAIRGROUNDS.

 

WHEREAS, agricultural diversifications are and will be essential to the agricultural life of North Carolina; and

WHEREAS, swine is and will be an essential and important ingredient to such diversification as it pertains to the agricultural life of North Carolina; and

WHEREAS, it has been shown that the Swine Barn located at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds is in need of improvements and enlargements: Now, therefore,

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  In addition to other appropriations made or to be made by the 1965 General Assembly, there is hereby appropriated the sum of thirty seven thousand five hundred dollars ($37,500.00) for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1965 and ending June 30, 1966 to be expended for additions and other improvements to the Swine Barn located on the North Carolina State Fairgrounds, Raleigh, North Carolina.

Sec. 2.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3.  This Act shall be in full force and effect on and after July 1, 1965.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 17th day of June, 1965.
