AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 413 OF THE 1963 SESSION LAWS RELATING TO THE DISTRIBUTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTROL PROFITS IN THE TOWN OF MORGANTON IN BURKE COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. Section 7 of Chapter 413 of the Session Laws of 1963 is hereby amended by striking from lines 25 and 26 thereof the phrase "Twenty-five per cent (25%) to the general fund of Burke County to be used for capital outlay of public schools;" and substituting in lieu thereof the phrase "Twenty-five per cent (25%) to the general fund of Burke County, and an amount equivalent to the amount paid into the general fund of Burke County shall be appropriated by the board of commissioners of said county to be used for capital outlay for public schools;".

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect upon its ratification.
