SENATE BILL 248

AN ACT TO APPLY ARTICLE 17 OF CHAPTER 66 OF THE GENERAL STATUTES PERTAINING TO CLOSE-OUT SALES, TO NASH AND EDGECOMBE COUNTIES.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Article 17 of Chapter 66 of the General Statutes, as the same appears in the 1965 Replacement Volume 2C of the General Statutes, is amended by adding Nash County and Edgecombe County to the list of counties to which the Article applies as set forth in G. S. 66-84.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall become effective upon its ratification.
