AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 212 OF THE SESSION LAWS OF 1957 RELATING TO THE COMPENSATION OF THE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF WAYNE COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Chapter 212 of the Session Laws of 1957 is hereby amended by adding a new Section immediately following Section 2, to be designated as Section 2 1/2, and to read as follows:

"Sec. 2 1/2. In addition to the compensation above provided for, the chairman and each other member of the Board of Education of Wayne County shall be paid fifteen dollars ($15.00) for each special called meeting attended."

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall become effective upon its ratification.
