AN ACT RELATING TO THE TAKING OF FOX IN YANCEY COUNTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. G. S. 113-111, as the same appears in the 1963 Cumulative Supplement to the General Statutes, is amended by inserting after the comma following the word "Watauga" and before the word "Yadkin", the word "and".

Said Section is further amended by striking out in line 6 the words "and Yancey".

Said Section is further amended by adding at the end thereof the following: "It shall be unlawful to kill fox in Yancey County in any manner."

Sec. 2. Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and fined or imprisoned in the discretion of the court.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall become effective upon its ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 12th day of May, 1965.
