HOUSE BILL 694

AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 239 OF THE SESSION LAWS OF 1957 RELATING TO JURY TRIALS IN THE RECORDER'S COURT OF RUTHERFORD COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Section 1 of Chapter 239 of the Session Laws of 1957 is hereby amended by striking out the word "eighteen" in line seven and inserting the word "twenty-four" in lieu thereof, and by striking out the words "each two calendar months" in lines eight and nine and inserting in lieu thereof the words "each calendar month."

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall become effective upon its ratification.
