SENATE BILL 475

 

 

AN ACT MAKING IT UNLAWFUL TO TAKE ALLIGATORS OR THEIR EGGS.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  Paragraph (d) of Section 102 of Chapter 113 of the General Statutes of North Carolina is hereby amended by adding at the end thereof the following sentence:

"It shall be unlawful to take alligators or their eggs at any time."

Sec. 1 1/2.  This shall not apply to the land owner or owners.

Sec. 2.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3.  This Act shall be effective from and after its ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 10th day of June, 1965.
