AN ACT TO REWRITE G.S. 14-127, RELATING TO WILFUL INJURY TO REAL PROPERTY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  G.S. 14-127 is rewritten to read as follows:

"§ 14-127.  Wilful and Wanton Injury to Real Property. If any person shall wilfully and wantonly damage, injure or destroy any real property whatsoever, either of a public or private nature, he shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by fine or imprisonment or both, in the discretion of the court."

Sec. 2.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3.  This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 3rd day of July, 1967.
