SENATE BILL 137

AN ACT TO FIX THE COMPENSATION OF THE CHAIRMAN AND MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF ROBESON COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Chapter 929, Session Laws of 1957, is hereby amended by rewriting the first paragraph of Section 1 thereof to read as follows:

"The chairman of the Board of County Commissioners of Robeson County shall receive as compensation for his services the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) per month. The other members of said Board shall receive as compensation for their services, the sum of seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per month."

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect on and after July 1, 1967.
