HOUSE BILL 312

AN ACT TO VALIDATE A SALE OF CERTAIN STOCK BY THE TOWN OF SCOTLAND NECK.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. That the sale of stock in the Halifax County Hosiery Mill, which sale was consummated on January 2, 1965, is hereby validated and shall be deemed to be in compliance with the provisions of G. S. 160-59.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from the date of its ratification.
