HOUSE BILL 721

AN ACT TO INCREASE THE SALARY OF CERTAIN ELECTED OFFICIALS IN ROWAN COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. The annual salary of the following elected officials of Rowan County shall be as follows:

Sheriff ........................................................................................ $8,800.00

Auditor ....................................................................................... $8,500.00

Clerk of Superior Court ........................................................... $8,400.00

Judge of County Court ............................................................. $8,400.00

Solicitor of County Court ........................................................ $7,200.00

Register of Deeds ..................................................................... $8,400.00

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after July 1, 1967.
