AN ACT TO AMEND G.S. 113-95 SO AS TO INCREASE THE NONRESIDENT HUNTING LICENSE FEES AND TO ALLOCATE FUNDS DERIVED FROM SAID INCREASE FOR USE IN PROPAGATION, MANAGEMENT, AND CONTROL OF MIGRATORY WATERFOWL.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  G.S. 113-95, as the same appears in the 1963 Cumulative Supplement to 1960 Replacement Volume 3A of the General Statutes, is hereby amended by deleting the figures "$20.00", appearing in line one of the license fee schedule, and inserting in lieu thereof the figures "$22.00", and by deleting the figures "15.75" in line two of the license fee schedule, and inserting in lieu thereof the figures "17.75".

Sec. 2.  G.S. 113-95 is further amended by adding a new paragraph immediately after the license fee schedule to read as follows: "One dollar ($1.00) of each nonresident hunting license fee, and nonresident six-day hunting permit fee, shall be used by the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission for the propagation, management, and control of migratory waterfowl in North Carolina and a like portion of such license fees shall be contributed by the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission to a proper agency or agencies in Canada for the propagation, management, and control of migratory waterfowl.

Sec. 3.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4.  This Act shall be in full force and effect on and after August 1, 1968.
