AN ACT RELATING TO A PERMIT FEE FOR THE SELLING OF PEN-RAISED QUAIL.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

 

Section 1.  Chapter 515, Session Laws of 1971, is hereby amended by adding a new section immediately following Section 2 thereof, to be numbered Section 2.1 and to read as follows:

"Sec. 2.1. Every person who wishes to raise and sell pen-raised quail for food purposes, upon application for the permit described in Section 2 above shall pay the sum of fifty dollars ($50.00) to the Wildlife Resources Commission, to be used by the Commission to defray the expenses incurred in the processing of the application."

Sec. 2.  This act shall become effective upon ratification.
