AN ACT RELATING TO PUBLICATION OF EXECUTIVE ORDERS OF THE GOVERNOR.

 

Whereas, the Governor of North Carolina is authorized by law in certain instances to issue Executive Orders which have the force of law; and

Whereas, there is no provision for publication of such Executive Orders so as to make them generally available to the people of the State; Now, therefore,

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

 

Section 1.  Executive Orders of the Governor which have the force of law may be printed as an appendix to the Session Laws of North Carolina. The Governor's Office may transmit any such Executive Orders to the Legislative Services Officer who shall cause them to be printed with the Session Laws.

Sec. 2.  This act shall become effective upon ratification.
