AN ACT TO AMEND ARTICLE 6, CHAPTER 129 OF THE NORTH CAROLINA GENERAL STATUTES TO AUTHORIZE THE NORTH CAROLINA CAPITAL PLANNING COMMISSION TO NAME STATE GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS IN THE CITY OF RALEIGH AND ITS ENVIRONS.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  G.S. 129-33 is hereby amended by adding a new subsection to be designated "(6)", to read as follows:

"(6).     To name any new State government building or any building hereafter acquired by the State of North Carolina in the City of Raleigh and its environs, unless said building is excluded from the provisions of this Article by G.S. 129-35."

Sec. 2.  This act shall become effective upon ratification.
