HOUSE BILL 201

 

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE WAYNE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS TO PLACE THE PROCEEDS FROM THE 1968 TAX LEVY FOR THE COUNTY COURTHOUSE ADDITION IN THE GENERAL FUND OF WAYNE COUNTY TO BE SPENT, IN THE DISCRETION OF THE BOARD, FOR PUBLIC AND NECESSARY EXPENSES.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  The Board of Commissioners of Wayne County is hereby authorized to place or direct the transfer of the proceeds received from the 1968 Wayne County tax levy for the county courthouse addition, and now in a building fund, into the General Fund of Wayne County for the purpose of being spent, in the discretion of the Board of Commissioners of Wayne County, for public and necessary expenses.

Sec. 2.  This act shall become effective upon its ratification.
