HOUSE BILL 915

 

AN ACT TO AMEND THE CHARTER OF THE TOWN OF HOLLY SPRINGS, NORTH CAROLINA, WITH RESPECT TO PROCEDURES FOR THE ADOPTION OF ORDINANCES AND CONCERNING THE DUTIES OF THE TOWN ATTORNEY.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  Section 9 of Chapter 110, Session Laws of North Carolina, 1951, is hereby amended by rewriting the last sentence thereof to read as follows:

"The enacting clause of all ordinances shall be 'Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of the Town of Holly Springs:'".

Sec. 2.  Section 18 of Chapter 110, Session Laws of North Carolina, 1951, is hereby amended by striking out the phrase which reads as follows:

"to attend all meetings of the board of commissioners;".

Sec. 3.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4.  This act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
