HOUSE BILL 1202

 

AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE ASHE COUNTY GARBAGE DUMP ROAD TO BE PAVED FROM COUNTY FUNDS.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1.  The Board of County Commissioners of Ashe County is hereby authorized to place in its budget for the fiscal year 1971-1972 and to levy a tax sufficient to raise the sum of three thousand nine hundred dollars ($3,900) and appropriate and use said sum to reimburse Collection Service Company, Inc., for the construction of the road from North Carolina Highway No. 88 to the garbage dump owned by Ashe County and being used as a garbage dump in said county.

Sec. 2.  The public benefit to the people of Ashe County from garbage collection and disposal is determined to be a sufficient consideration for the appropriation and payment of said sum pursuant to this act.

Sec. 3.  This act shall become effective upon ratification.
