AN ACT AMENDING G.S. 143A-181 RELATING TO APPEALS TO THE CREDIT UNION COMMISSION FROM DECISIONS OF THE ADMINISTRATOR OF CREDIT UNIONS.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

 

Section 1.  G.S. 143A-181(c) is amended by adding at the end thereof the following:

"An appeal may be taken to the Commission from any finding, ruling, order, decision or the final action of the administrator by any credit union which feels aggrieved thereby. Notice of such appeal shall be filed with the chairman of the Commission within thirty (30) days after such finding, ruling, order, decision or other action, and a copy served upon the administrator. Such notice shall contain a brief statement of the pertinent facts upon which such appeal is grounded. The Commission shall fix a date, time and place for hearing said appeal, and shall notify the credit union or its attorney of record thereof at least thirty (30) days prior to the date of said hearing."

Sec. 2.  This act shall become effective upon ratification.
