HOUSE BILL 1282

AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 738 OF THE 1975 SESSION LAWS TO PROVIDE THAT THE ELECTIONS FOR THE DURHAM CITY BOARD OF EDUCATION SHALL BE HELD IN COMPLIANCE WITH G.S. 163-293.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

Section 1. Chapter 738 of the 1975 Session Laws is hereby amended by inserting the following sentence after the first sentence of Section 2 thereof:

"All elections for the Durham City Board of Education shall be conducted in accordance with G.S. 163-293."

Sec. 2. This act shall become effective upon ratification.
