HOUSE BILL 359

AN ACT TO ALLOW NEW HANOVER COUNTY AND AVERY COUNTY TO NAME AND ASSIGN STREET NUMBERS TO PRIVATE ROADS IN UNINCORPORATED AREAS.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

Section 1.  Section 3 of Chapter 1319, Session Laws of 1979 (Second Session 1980), as amended by Chapter 568, Session Laws of 1981, is rewritten to read:

"Sec. 3. This act applies only to Brunswick, Cabarrus, Avery and New Hanover Counties."

Sec. 2.  This act is effective upon ratification.
