SENATE BILL 401

AN ACT TO DELETE THE REQUIREMENT OF CATEGORIZING HOSPITALS AS TO THE KINDS AND LEVELS OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL TREATMENT AVAILABLE.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

Section 1.  G.S. 143-509(2) is repealed.

Sec. 2.  This act is effective upon ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified this the 26th day of April, 1989.
