HOUSE BILL 198

 

AN ACT TO ALLOW ALBERT A. BELL AND LILLY K. BELL TO CONVEY CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF NEW BERN.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

 

Section 1.  Chapter 364, Session Laws of 1983, is amended by adding a new section to read:

"Sec. 2.1.  Notwithstanding Section 47 of the Charter of the City of New Bern, being Chapter 1281, Session Laws of 1957, Albert A. Bell and Lilly K. Bell may convey to the City of New Bern Lot No. 100, as the same is shown and delineated on a map entitled 'Woodrow Place', which map is recorded in Map Book 1, Page 158, Craven County Registry, in exchange for sewer taps to be provided by the city at Lots 1, 2, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14, Block O, Woodrow Place."

Sec. 2.  This act is effective upon ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified this the 1st day of June, 1993.
