SENATE BILL 289

 

 

AN ACT to remove a described area from the corporate limits of the town of cape carteret.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

 

SECTION 1.  The corporate limits of the Town of Cape Carteret are reduced by removing the following described area:

The area known as Blackbeard's Galley, beginning at a point in the western right-of-way line of S.R. 1111; said point being located S 87-16-51 E 261.48 feet from a point in the eastern right-of-way line of NC Highway 58, which is 817.79 feet in a northerly direction from the Northeast right of way intersection of NC Highway 58 and S.R. 1111; thence from said point of beginning N 87-16-51 W 111.67 feet to a point, the common corner between L. E. McNeill Property, Blackbeard's Galley Property, and Blackbeard's Pantry Property, thence along the eastern property line of Blackbeard's Pantry Property, N 15-03-05 W 245.00 feet to a point, thence S 86-34-29 E 122.37 feet to a point in the western right-of-way line of the S.R. 1111; thence along the western right of way line of S.R. 1111 the following courses: S 08-46-47 E 103.86 feet; S 15-03-07 E 102.35 feet; thence S 17-41-54 E 34.80 feet to the point and place of beginning and containing 0.6 acres.

SECTION 2.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
