A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds to perform DNA Analysis on untested sexual assault kits located in law enforcement departments across north carolina and to provide the state bureau of investigation crime laboratory sufficient funds to perform dna analysis of evidence to assist law enforcement and prosecutors in convicting criminals.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2003.
