A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds to support the international Civil rights center and museum.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to Sit‑In Movement, Inc., a nonprofit organization, the sum of three million dollars ($3,000,000) for the 2003‑2004 fiscal year to support and pay for the design, construction, and fabrication of exhibitions of the International Civil Rights Center and Museum and for the final renovation costs of the Museum.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2003.
