A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds to help establish the pembroke-prospect drainage district.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to Robeson County the sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for the 2005-2006 fiscal year to establish the Pembroke-Prospect Drainage District and to assist with engineering costs incurred in determining the boundaries of the proposed drainage district.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2005.
