A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds to help establish the pembroke‑prospect drainage district.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to Robeson County the sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for the 2005‑2006 fiscal year to establish the Pembroke‑Prospect Drainage District and to assist with engineering costs incurred in determining the boundaries of the proposed drainage district.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2005.
