A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds to construct and equip a classroom building on the northwest guilford county campus of guilford technical Community college.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Community Colleges System Office the sum of three million dollars ($3,000,000) for the 2006‑2007 fiscal year to construct and equip a classroom building on the new Northwest Guilford County Campus of Guilford Technical Community College. The College has already secured three million five hundred thousand dollars ($3,500,000) for the project. The building shall be dedicated primarily to training programs for workers to be employed by companies in the logistics and supply chain industries.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2006.
