A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT removing certain described property from the corporate limits of the town of carrboro.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  The following described property is removed from the corporate limits of the Town of Carrboro:

The Highlands subdivision, referred to in the Orange County Land Records as Subdivision No. 2169, an Orange County subdivision being bound on the southern border by Homestead Road and by the subdivision known as Camden Investment Corp. (No. 1982), on the eastern border by Rogers road, being bound on the northern border by the subdivision referred to as Highland Meadows (No. 2167), and a property owned by MBI Development LLC ({PIN #9870324695), and being bound on the western border by a property owned by the Board of Trustees of the University of North Carolina (PIN# 9870305667). This entire area is referred to as the Northeast Annexation of 2005‑2006.

SECTION 2.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
