A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT to appropriate funds for the international CIVIL rights center and museum.
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to Sit‑In Movement, Inc., a nonprofit organization, the sum of three million dollars ($3,000,000) for the 2008‑2009 fiscal year to construct and install exhibits at the International Civil Rights Center and Museum in Greensboro.
SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2008.
