A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to allow the north carolina national guard to operate post exchanges.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  G.S. 66‑58(b) is amended by adding a new subdivision to read:

"(b)      The provisions of subsection (a) of this section shall not apply to:

…

(24) The North Carolina National Guard, for the operation of post exchanges. The North Carolina National Guard is authorized to enter into an agreement with the Army & Air Force Exchange Service to operate the exchange."

SECTION 2.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
