A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds to the city of greensboro to establish job training services focusing on the needs of the homeless and ex‑offender populations.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the City of Greensboro the sum of one hundred twenty thousand dollars ($120,000) for the 2008‑2009 fiscal year to establish job training services focused on the needs of the homeless and of the ex‑offenders who have been released by the North Carolina Department of Correction.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2008.
