A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds for a student services center at north Carolina agricultural & Technical State University.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Board of Governors of The University of North Carolina the sum of eight million one hundred thousand dollars ($8,100,000) for the 2008‑2009 fiscal year to be allocated to North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University to purchase and renovate the Hayes‑Taylor YMCA for use as a Student Services Center.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2008.
