A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds TO the malachi house to construct a new dormitory.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Malachi House, a nonprofit corporation, the sum of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for the 2008‑2009 fiscal year for use in constructing a new dormitory to assist the organization in providing residential substance abuse treatment services to men in the City of Greensboro.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2008.
