A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds to the board of governors of the university of north carolina to expand the entrepreneurship and regional cluster‑based economic development initiatives at north carolina state university.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Board of Governors of The University of North Carolina the sum of two million dollars ($2,000,000) in recurring funds for the 2008‑2009 fiscal year to be allocated to North Carolina State University to expand the entrepreneurship and regional cluster‑based economic development initiatives of the Small Business and Technology and Development Center.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2008.
