A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds to support global marketing, communications, and promotions of the high point international home FURNISHINGS market.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of Commerce the sum of two million six hundred thousand dollars ($2,600,000) for the 2009‑2010 fiscal year to support the global marketing, communications, and promotions of the semiannual International Home Furnishings Market in High Point.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2009.
