A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds to construct and equip the john coltrane music hall at the community arts center in high point.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the High Point Area Arts Council, Inc., a nonprofit corporation, the sum of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) for the 2009‑2010 fiscal year to construct and equip the John Coltrane Music Hall, which will be located in the new Community Arts Center.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2009.
