A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds for the josh and marie reynolds hospital guest house in winston‑salem.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to Hospital Hospitality House of Winston‑Salem, a nonprofit corporation, the sum of two million dollars ($2,000,000) for the 2009‑2010 fiscal year for the Josh and Marie Reynolds Hospital Guest House. The purpose of the Hospital Guest House is to provide affordable lodging in a caring environment for referred adult patients and their caregivers who travel to Winston‑Salem for medical treatment.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2009.
