A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT designating april as woodworking month in north carolina.
Whereas, the month of April is celebrated as National Woodworking Month; and
Whereas, designating the month of April as Woodworking Month in North Carolina would help focus attention on the beauty and satisfaction of working with wood; and
Whereas, the designation would motivate North Carolinians to undertake woodworking projects by increasing their knowledge and skill in woodworking and wood finishing; Now, therefore,
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
SECTION 1. Chapter 103 of the General Statutes is amended by adding a new section to read:
"§ 103‑12. Woodworking Month.
The month of April of each year is designated as Woodworking Month in the State of North Carolina."
SECTION 2. This act is effective when it becomes law.
