A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate the sum of fifty thousand dollars to the Department of Crime CONTROL and Public Safety, State HIGHWAY PATROL Division, to employ a contract position to coordinate caisson activities for the North carolina Troopers association CAISSON unit.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of Crime Control and Public Safety, State Highway Patrol Division, the sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for fiscal year 2009‑2010 to employ a contract position to coordinate caisson activities for the North Carolina Troopers Association Caisson Unit.  This contract position shall not receive any employee benefits whatsoever.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2009.
